Where is my data located?

Starting August 4, 2026, you choose where your data is stored when you create your account: the United States or Europe. This choice is fixed once you sign up - if your organization's needs change later, contact support to discuss your options.

If you're an existing customer, your data stays hosted in Europe. We're extending regional choice to existing customers, and we'll contact you directly before anything changes.

Wherever your data is stored, we keep it on secure Linode-hosted servers that benefit from their security controls and compliance standards. We also take additional proactive measures to maintain a secure infrastructure, following best practices for encrypted storage, access control, and network segmentation.
